About the Practice
Dr. Greene is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and specializes in reconstruction of the hip and knee. His focus is on total hip replacement and total knee replacement, and he is recognized as an authority in this area, lecturing both nationally and internationally. An Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Dr. Greene is also the Head of Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Summa Health System and the Medical Director of the Walter A. Hoyt Jr., M.D. Musculoskeletal Research Laboratory. He has collaborated with University of Akron, Kent State University, Cleveland State University, and The Cleveland Clinic on research to further advance the care of arthritic patients. Dr. Greene is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Arthroplasty, and is an editor of Orthopaedic Hyperguide and member of its Global Advisory Board. He has been extensively involved with orthopaedic implant design, including the Restoration Modular Hip System, Rejuvenate SPT Hip System, and the Triathlon Total Knee System. Dr. Greene is a paid consultant with Stryker Orthopaedics, a global leader in medical technology. His relationship as an implant design consultant with Stryker allows his patients’ access to the latest technology available, often years before general use.
